Kuwait shares European weather patterns but is hotter and drier. Summers (April to October) are hot and humid with very little rain. Winters (November to March) are cool with limited rain. Springs are very pleasant. Kuwait has remained a puzzling but intriguing mix of Western liberalism and strict Islam. Consumption of alcohol and pork is strictly forbidden and against the law. The country remains modern and you can enjoy life like in most of European countries. The city offers over 14 entertainment sites, 23 cinemas and theatres, and 23 modern shopping malls in addition to a long and well-developed seafront. About 17 major touristic sites and resorts are under construction.
