1.How far is it to the Airport?
The Airport is located 15 kilometers from the hotel and is a 15 minutes drive.
2. How far is it to Kuwait City?
Kuwait City is located 40 kilometres from the hotel and it will take 20-25 minutes drive to go there. As you can choose several different routes to reach the city.
3. Is there a lot of traffic coming to the hotel?
No, the hotel’s location gives you easy access to all major roads in Kuwait
4. Do I need VISA to enter Kuwait?
Some nationalities are required to arrange VISA before arrival and some can acquire it at the Airport against a small fee of KD3 (10$). For more information, please contact the hotel.
5. How is the security level at the hotel?
The hotel has 24 hours security, both outside and inside the hotel.
6. Where can I exchange money?
A selection of currency can be exchanged at the hotel. For a better selection there are various exchange offices at a distance of 10 minutes drive from the hotel.
7. Where can I park my car?
Valet parking is available 24 hours and is complimentary.

11. What is the climate in Kuwait?
The best time to travel to Kuwait is November-April, when it's a little cooler and rainier. The summer months are hot, but the humidity is much lower than in the other Gulf States. Take along a sweater for evenings year-round, especially January-March, when the temperatures are cool.
12. What are the working hours in Kuwait?
The work week is from Sundays to Thursdays. Public services, schools and banks are closed on Fridays and Saturdays. Working hours varies from 7 am to 1 pm and some companies from 8 am to 5 pm.

14. Can I drive in Kuwait?
GCC citizen driver’s license or travelers on a visit VISA and have international driving licenses can drive and rent car, but be aware that you have to buy a mandatory Kuwait insurance.

Yes, there are several shopping complexes in 10 minutes driving distance from the hotel and with a various selection of electronic, clothing’s, shoes, gold etc
16. Does the hotel have airport transfer?
Yes, the hotel provides airport transfers upon request on complimentary basis.
18. What are the Internet connections available in the hotel?
The Regency Hotel offers 2 ways to connect your computer to the internet. If you have your own laptop you can either use WI-FI High Speed connection. Both of which are complimentary.
19. If I do not have my own laptop can I access Internet?
Yes, you may access the internet via the Business Centre which is open 24 hours located on the lobby level behind the reception..
20. Is there a Mosque close to the hotel?
There is a praying room inside the hotel and a Mosque within the hotel premises. There is a bigger Mosque at 5 minutes drive from the hotel.
21. Where can I go to church?
There are several churches in the city that will have masses at different times and in different languages. Alternatively, there is a small church at 10 minutes drive from the hotel.
22. What do I need to bring with me when I arrive to collect my car hire?
The most important things to remember are your driving license (both parts in the case of a UK license) and a credit card to secure against your rental. You should also bring along another form of ID with your home address on it (such as a utilities bill, passport copy).
23. Do I need to bring my Driving License with me?
Yes, if you are unable to produce your driving license (both parts in the case of a UK license) you may not be able to drive away a hire car.
24. What types of payment should I bring?
You should bring with you a major credit card, to secure payment of your rental and to authorize against potential damage claims resulting from your rental.
25. When will I receive confirmation of my reservation?
Once you've completed your reservation, an e-mail will be sent to you confirming the reservation and advising you of the rental details for your reference. You will also be given a reservation number. Please keep this safe as you may be asked to provide this number in any future correspondence concerning your reservation.
