The Regency offers 203 luxurious rooms including 53 suites, as well as the largest meetings and convention facilities in Kuwait.
The white marble lobby with its spectacular atrium offers unrivalled ocean panoramas. This is where families and businessmen gather to sample superb refreshments, savour The Regency's High Tea, or simply sit on the sun terrace to enjoy a freshly brewed coffee and gorgeous vistas.
Shady summer lounge areas are provided in summer and three swimming pools give guests a chance to cool off, while a further two pools are provided exclusively for female guests. In line with Sharia’a ethics, men and women are required to use conservative swimwear in the pools. The Ladies’ Lounge is the only one of its kind in Kuwait and provides a unique all-ladies rendezvous for special events or simply relaxation whether by the pool, in the lounge or by the beautiful beach.
A new fitness studio opened in May 2013.
The Regency is well known across Kuwait and the entire Gulf region for its extensive conference and banqueting facilities totaling over 8,000sq m. Over a dozen of meeting rooms are equipped with the latest technology including high speed wifi. The hotel’s versatility means it is prized for large-scale weddings, high level conferences and social events.

History
An auspicious heritage
The Regency first opened its doors in 1981and with its unparalleled location and service, soon established itself as a notable landmark on Kuwait’s coastline. In the mid-1980s the property gained extensive recognition internationally as the host of the 1984 GCC Summit.
After the destruction of Kuwait following the Gulf War the hotel suffered considerable damage. However the hotel’s owners, the Al Sane family, showed exemplary commitment by completely rebuilding the hotel. From 2005-2009, the owners undertook a substantial US$100 million investment to remodel and refurbish the property in every detail; only the finest materials and furnishings were used and with great acclaim, the hotel re-opened its doors, this time under the new moniker The Regency, Kuwait.
Together with its enviable location on the shores of the Arabian Gulf, extraordinary interiors and facilities, a hand-picked international team, and its respect for the principles of Sharia’a, the hotel has recaptured its reputation as the most prestigious luxury hotel in the Northern Gulf.
